AfterInstall executes every time running the code I've written, but the AfterUninstall event is never raised. Why would this method not be called by the uninstallation process of the MSI? When I uninstall my application, I am left with the application's main executable and the install state file from the custom actions of the installer. In my case this is true for the most part. Problem 1: Everything I've read on MSI installations is that everything that is installed by the setup and deployment project should be removed upon uninstallation. Foreword: For my project I am utilizing the Installer class for two things, 1) the Install method saves the installation location of the application in the IDictionary object (.installstate file), and 2) to clean up registry keys and values that were created by the application and any folders and files left behind by the MSI.
